Fit Out

CONNOLLY TRAIN STATION

Fitting out of two independent business offices within the main building of Connolly station took place after the plans were drawn up for Air Rights. As one of the businesses was a stock-trading company, we imported special trading desks from the UK and made sure that all the technology they needed would be correctly displayed and had enough room. We also made sure that, as shift work took place, the design of the kitchen made it possible for it to be open for 24 hours and serve breakfast at the same time as dinner.
The interiors of the entrance to the offices in the main building were designed to incorporate the feeling of the building as a whole. The vaulted ceiling and archway reflects the ceiling archway of the main station building and are reminiscent of the train termini, evoking the feeling of movement and containment.
