We worked very closely with both graphic and lighting designers on the interiors of Budda Bag, a shop in Dublin’s Italian Quarter that sells bright, funky, memory-foam seating. We were very careful to theme the store so that it was both in keeping with the new brand, so that the fit-out would embody the company ethos.
The concept of this was to make the space like a gallery and making the space as vibrant and fun as possible, we played on the brand’s circle motif. With a simple white floor we covered the ceiling with back-lit perspex discs. The walls were adorned with large screen printed images, back-lit with colour-changing LED lights. This became the first concept store to be rolled-out Europe-wide.
